Moms do you enjoy scrapbooking?

I started scrapbooking when our daughter was a newborn. I decided I didn’t want a baby book or a photo album. I wanted it all in one. So I put together a really pretty scrapbook for her. I wrote down all her firsts and just little things I observe her doing, something funny or interesting. I have it all in chronological order from the time she was born until last year. I am still on July of last year! I am so behind. She is 2 1/2 and I noticed I haven’t been scrapbooking as much as I should. It’s hard to find the time and creativity and also the motivation when I am dead tired after a day of running around after her. lol

I love scrapbooking! I am not that creative but I am learning as I go.
I have done the same thing as you for my 2.5 year old son It’s like a baby book/photo/scrapbook that I have created in chronological order, sounds alot like what you have done! I love it! So far I have got up to a little past his first Birthday. I will continue it because I enjoy it, but I also have baby #2 due in a week so I dont know how much time I will have to be working on 2 scrapbooks lol It was most important for me to get that first year done.

Looking for Huckleberry Recipes for Christmas Gift…PLEASE HELP!?

I am looking for recipes for a cookbook that I am making for my step-mom for Xmas…she collects everything huckleberry and due to limited funds for this Holiday season and my love of scrapbooking I thought that I would make her a book complied with recipes using her favorite berry. I am looking for recipes for anything besides breakfast or dessert items as I found a plethora of them! If you have any other good recipes from appetizers to meat dishes and anything else I would greatly appreciate it!

The most huckleberry recipes I know of are jam and sauces.
I like a huckleberry omlette it is almost like a crepe.
The recipie I like is

Chicken Huckle
split chicken breasts in half then cook until almost done and cool
Stuff each with
2 oz butter
1 Tsp chili powder or to taste, I like them spicy
Huckleberries
Shredded Coconut

Stuff breast and fold around
Dip in flour and then in egg yolk and then bread crumbs
Fry in shortening for 5 or so minutes
then Bake for 5 mins around 350
It is really good with curry sauce on top
and you could put a wee bit of mozza cheese in middle too but not too much

I just thought of another one

Huckleberry Mincemeat
put everything in a large pot and simmer 30 mins, make sure to stir every 10 mins

1/2 c water
1 TBSP lemon juice
1/2 c sugar
1 beef boullion cube
3 granny smith apples chopped no cores
2 med zucchini chopped
1 pint huckleberries
2 t finely chop or grated orange peel
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Then after the 30 mins
take 2 envelopes unflav gelatin stir into 1/2 c boiled hot water then stir into hot mincemeat
Put into jars cover and cool.
Do not process or can them
Store in fridge and use in a couple months
